Explanation
Wraith King was previously known as Skeleton King in Dota 2 because of legal reasons. The original hero design was based on the famous Blizzard character, Leoric the Skeleton King, from their game Diablo, which caused copyright complications. Consequently, Valve had to change his appearance and name to comply with legal requirements, resulting in the reimagining and rebranding of the hero as Wraith King.
