Where does "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" take place?

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask takes place in the land of Termina. Termina is a parallel world to Hyrule, the usual setting for the franchise, and is characterized by a diverse range of regions and civilizations. Link, the protagonist, finds himself in Termina after being transported there by the Skull Kid and the mysterious Mask Salesman. Throughout the game, Link must navigate Termina's various regions and interact with its inhabitants in order to stop the impending doom caused by the falling moon and the manipulative Skull Kid, ultimately saving the land and its inhabitants.
