Which country was NOT formerly part of Yugoslavia?

Albania is the country that was not formerly part of Yugoslavia. While the other countries that made up Yugoslavia were formed from the aftermath of World War I, Albania remained an independent state. Although it had close ties with some of the Yugoslav republics, Albania pursued its own political and economic path, leading to different historical trajectories and eventual independence from Yugoslavia.
